Professional Development of Chris Garner
Chris Garner joined Ischebeck Titan in the design office in 2013 at the age of 16, fresh out of school. Over the past ten years, he has made significant contributions to the Ischebeck Titan team and substantial strides in his own career and professional development, transitioning from a designer to a crucial member of the technical team and then onto an integral member of the sales team.
Starting out as a designer, Chris spent three years honing his skills in this role before expressing his desire for further professional development. Recognising his potential, the engineering leadership team helped him transition into a role within the technical team providing product data, product development and design support.
Hungry for more success and to further support his career advancement, Chris joined the sales team as a Sales Engineer and enrolled in a Level 4 Diploma course in Executive Selling with the Institute of Sales Professionals, a program invested in by Ischebeck Titan to provide Chris with a solid sales foundation.
To gain the qualification while remaining an important part of the team, Chris dedicated one day per week to this course, enhancing his sales skills on the job. Nearly three years on in his new role, Chris has been instrumental in growing his own customer base and attributes his success not only to his dedication but also to the guidance and support he has received from his colleagues.
